HERITAGE ADVENTURER - ANTARCTICA CRUISES

The Heritage Adventurer Ship is a purpose-built expedition ship, perfectly designed for exploring the world’s most remote and pristine regions, including the icy wonders of Antarctica. Originally constructed as the MS Hanseatic for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, this legendary vessel was acquired and refurbished by Heritage Expeditions, continuing its legacy as one of the most capable expedition ships at sea.

Carrying a maximum of just 140 guests on Antarctic voyages, Heritage Adventurer combines the strength and reliability of an ice-class vessel with the warm hospitality of a boutique cruise experience. Its smaller passenger numbers ensure an intimate atmosphere on board and allow more flexibility when exploring, with faster disembarkations and greater access to remote landing sites.

Life on board balances adventure and comfort. Guests enjoy spacious observation decks for wildlife spotting, a comfortable lounge and lecture theatre for enrichment programs, and welcoming dining venues offering international cuisine. The ship is also equipped with a fleet of Zodiacs, enabling close encounters with Antarctica’s majestic landscapes and abundant wildlife.

A team of expert naturalists, historians, and expedition leaders accompany each voyage, sharing their knowledge and passion for the polar regions. Whether it’s watching penguins waddle along the ice, cruising past dramatic icebergs, or standing in awe of vast glacier walls, every day on the Heritage Adventurer brings a new and unforgettable experience.

With its proven polar heritage, spacious accommodations, and strong expedition ethos, the Heritage Adventurer offers a truly authentic and enriching way to discover the White Continent.
